Jessie, Legal Secretary

Jessie’s pleasant voice is one you will hear when you call Briggs & Counsel. She directs your call to an attorney, sets appointments, prepares correspondence, formats legal documents, organizes file materials, answers questions about scheduling, and performs many tasks critical to the smooth running of our law office, and the winning your case.

When an attorney is not immediately available to take a telephone call, you can count on Jessie to make sure that your question, concern or message is understood, and relayed to an attorney promptly and accurately.

As with all our staff, Jessie is discreet and sensitive to the fact that you have come to our office with a personal matter.  She holds your information in the strictest confidence.

Jessie graduated from Camden High School and Husson College in Bangor.  She then lived in Connecticut for several years, where she worked in the Legal Department at United Aircraft and at other jobs before returning to Maine.   After 13 years with another local law firm, Jessie joined Briggs & Counsel in 2002.  She is married with two children, enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and traveling with her husband.
